The Economic Impact of Sun Devil Football in 2024-25

Dr. Evans has a B.A. in Philosophy from Kings College London (England), an M.A. in Sociology of Sport from the University of Leicester (England), and a Marketing Ph.D. from the University of Sheffield (England). He joined the Seidman Research Institute in May 2010. Prior to that, he held a number of senior U.K. and European marketing roles in the private sector.

Mr. Evans holds a B.A. (Hons.) in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from the University of Exeter (England), and a Masters in Sports Journalism from the Walter Cronkite School at ASU. He joined Seidman in January 2020. Outside Seidman, Mr. Evans also reports on Phoenix Rising FC for local media organization PHNX, and presents the official pre-game TV show on Arizona Family.

Dr. Sean Ewen originally joined Seidman in August 2024 as a Postdoctoral Researcher. In July, 2025, he was promoted to a Research Economist. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from University of Washington and a B.S. in Mathematics and Economics from American University. His research interests focus on structural models of oligopolistic industries such as airlines and banks, and environmental economics.

Ms. Castaneda joined Seidman in 2022 She has previously worked in administration for the University of Arizona, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Care, Health, and Society.
